A day without a woman strike – March 8th, 2017 – International.

This event is on my daughter’s birthday – so cool.

It was planned before Trump took office so it’s not just an American thing – it’s global.

On International Women’s Day, March 8th, women and our allies will act together for equity, justice and the human rights of women, through a one-day demonstration of economic solidarity.

Here are 3 actions you can take on #DayWithoutAWoman:

1. Do not engage in paid & unpaid work

2. Avoid spending money (with exceptions for small, women, and minority-owned businesses)

3. Wear RED in solidarity
